Cruise Martinborough is a classic and muscle car event open to cars and caravans from back in the day. Spread over several days in the sunny Wairarapa, just 90 minutes north of Wellington.
There are prize categories for both cars (pre 79 or newer by prior approval) and retro caravans. Cruise Domain (rugby grounds) will be set up as Caravan HQ for self contained campers.
Motorcycles are welcome to park up on the Saturday of our event in and around The Martinborough Square. Specifically the car park of The Pukemanu Tavern.
Yes there are rental homes in Martinborough as well as hotels, local camping ground and vineyards. If you are entering a caravan/ RV that is self contained then the ‘Cruise Domain’ will have a designated space for a small fee per night. Please book early as spaces are limited.
Martinborough is renowned for its vineyards and great wines with tours avalible. Other entertainment will include live music, local foods and beaches nearby.
You must register your vehicle to be part of the event. $139 per vehicle. Late entries more. Great prizes are up for grabs for those that enter vehicles!
We do not offer refunds. Once entered you can receive a credit for any future event if you cant attend the year you have registered for. Same goes for Covid, if restrictions force us to cancel or postpone your entry is held in credit for a future date you choose.
As you are driving on public roads its advisable your vehicle is legal. We do however have a few that arrive not quite finished each year.
Definitely not (used to be the answer) Of course this still applies to the public roads. We do however include an afternoon at the newest drag strip in town which should cater to this itch.
